Bel Harvey

Migayn dhuru (hello/good day),

Your host in this journey is Bel Harvey, a proud Bidjara woman, Wayapa Wuurrk Practitioner, cultural educator, and founder of Reconnect to Origin — a healing-centred eco-culture tourism and cultural wellness practice based on Country in Toowoomba, QLD.

Her journey began not through textbooks, but through a spiritual calling — a felt knowing that her purpose was to help others reconnect: to Earth, to spirit, and to self. This calling led her to deepen her knowledge of Aboriginal history, land-based mindfulness, and entrepreneurship, weaving all three into a sacred offering that is uniquely hers.

Bel holds a Diploma in Wayapa Wuurrk, a Diploma in Travel & Tourism, and a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship. She’s currently completing a Bachelor of Arts in First Nations Studies and Archaeology, and serves as a board director for the Bidjara Nation Aboriginal Corporation. She’s facilitated cultural wellness retreats, been a featured speaker at “Stories that Stir,” and shared her voice across radio and podcasts.

Her sessions — set outdoors on sacred land — blend cultural story, mindful movement, yarning, and ancestral wisdom. Participants leave not just relaxed, but realigned — with clarity, deeper awareness, and respect for Country.

Through every interaction, Bel offers more than a wellness session — she offers a pathway to presence, truth, and living with cultural and ecological integrity. She doesn’t just teach reconnection, she embodies it.
